‘America’s Got Talent’ Recap: Kenichi Ebina Dominates The Finals

It’s down to the last six acts on ‘America’s Got Talent,’ and everyone were given one final performance before the season eight champion is revealed! So, who’s in it to win it?
Over the course of this season of America’s Got Talent, the show has made us cry, laugh, and completely shock us. America’s top six performed live on Sept. 17 and are fighting for the chance to win $1 million and a Vegas act! Each contestant performed twice — a repeat act and an all-new act. HollywoodLife.com has narrowed down the performances into our top three! Check them out and see if you agree!

Top 3 Performances Of Sept. 17

3. Forte

The first time Forte took the stage they performed their breathtaking version of Andrea Bocelli’s “The Prayer.” Second time around, it was just as amazing. The power and perfection of these guys together is almost too much. Let’s not forget they found each other on the INTERNET. Talk about lucky. Their second and final performance of the Italian love song “Caruso” was the best way to close out the show. Words don’t do their performance justice. It was just that good. Mel B said Forte’s performance was “gorgeous” and Howard Stern called them “terrific.” Ditto, Howard. We’d go as far to say they were EPIC!

Let’s be honest, Saturday Night Live needs to take a look at talent on their own network because Taylor is on fire with comedy. He had the toughest first act of the night, he had make the same jokes from a previous performance. For some, this would have crippled their vibe, but not Taylor. He owned the stage and the audience for many, many laughs. Howard called him a “terrific performer” and Mel B said he was “awkward” and “weird” but she wouldn’t have it any other way. His second time on stage included more witty banter with Heidi Klum and sheer hilarity. He had us laughing the whole time and his fans were chanting his name long after his performance was over. Howard told Taylor that he “really deserved a shot at this” and we couldn’t agree more.
Kenichi is truly a one-of-a-kind act. Seriously, have you ever seen an act quite like his? His first performance put a new twist on his Matrix routine that he auditioned with. Coupling originality and creativity, he delivered an incredible new spin on an old trick. You couldn’t look away, Kenichi was just mesmerizing. He received a standing ovation from everyone and Heidi said that “this is my most favorite act of the whole entire season of America’s Got Talent.” Mel B even called him a “genius.” His final performance included eight 3D characters in which he battled and danced along with! He was truly captivating. Howie Mandel called him “so brilliant” and Howard told the audience that “he deserved to win.”
Now, it’s all up to America to vote for their season eight winner! Tomorrow’s final results are sure to be intense and epic. Mental prep starts…NOW!
So HollywoodLifers, who was your favorite performance of the night? Who do YOU think will win? Let us know!
